Summer 2023: Friends of LA River
With collaboration with Friends of Los Angeles River, NYCC Green Club volunteered to educate elementary and middle school students on significance of environmental issues.

Thank you councilwoman Raman for giving our students opportunities to increase awareness of environmental issues in our community. Our students made rounds to inform neighbors about importance of food waste and recycling, and distributed pails, which will help with recycling (see below).
